DIY Christmas window decorations

Create a festive holiday lamp from an old mason jar. You can make this attractive holiday table lamp for just a few dollars. The changing colors make create a pretty effect for table top or in a window display.


You will need just a few supplies and tools to make some beautiful window lights or table lights for the holiday season. Here is what you will need:

    • LED flashing light disc
    • Mason jar with lid
    • 1 pack of Snowball glass beads
    • 1 pack of clear glass beads
    • 4 inch snowman figurine
    • Hot glue gun

Step by step instructions


  1. Wash and dry the jar thoroughly.
  2. Mix the beads together well and pour into the mason jar.
  3. Use the glue gun to glue the snowman figurine to the top of the jar lid. Allow the glue to dry.
  4. Screw the lid onto the jar.
  5. Place the color changing LED disc where you want to display the lamp. Turn it on and enjoy the beautiful lamp you just made.

Tips:

Use small canning jars with LED votive candles for lighting centerpieces or to make party lights to place all around the room.
