Cherish your Woman-she's worth it

Your Mate is the most Valuable thing you have

Proverbs says: For her value is far beyond rubies

This hub is one of the easiest to write that I have ever done because I didn't have to do anything but speak from the heart. A very wise old man once gave me a piece of wisdom. It's so simple that it took years before I truly understood it and yet it is really profound. My father told me "God never made an ugly woman. There may be some who haven't been given the care and feeling they deserve but never an ugly one. Making ugly women happens when men forget to be men."

That's part of what I want to tell all my male friends this Valentine's Day. Value your woman. She's your greatest treasure. There is an art to loving. It has to be sincere and tender while giving her the room she needs to grow as her own person. You won't always know if you've got it right but you'll definitely get it right more often. Love her like your own flesh and she'll be the most beautiful woman you've ever seen.

Doing it Wrong taught me Better

Now I'm not an expert. I learned everything I know about relationships from mucking them up and from being an incurable romantic. Here's what I have learned.

  1. Assume you have no idea what she is talking about and listen closely. This will save a lot of time as she is going to take at least three meanings more from anything you say. The ladies just don't understand that while we men may be clueless,we usually say just what we mean.
  2. Pay attention to little things. This is the most important person in your life. If she changed her hair or accomplished something really great at work, praise her for it. It's the Golden Rule, mate.
  3. Try to develop some common interests with your mate. Activities that you both enjoy will help create a closeness that will last throughout the years and you just might be surprised at how smart your wife really is.
  4. Don't expect intimacy to always lead to sex. If you get this part right I promise you, when it does lead to sex it'll be fantastic.
  5. Ask her opinion. She has one even if it is polar opposite yours it can show you where your own thinking is sound. My  wife hated politics but was a shrewd judge of character. She helped me see that some of my candidates were great men while others just pretended to be.
  6. Never go to bed with a fight unresolved. It's a fact that you will argue. Don't let foolish pride rule your judgement or you will regret it. You can debate without making it personal and if she says she's wrong accept it humbly and always tell her that you love her and that you always will.

Keep Passion Hot

Making Love is what you do with your whole life, not just your body. If you don't overdo it little gestures like a flower on her pillow or just saying I love you for no reason at all Will make you relationship full of joy and passion.

I think maybe Charlie Pride said it well. "Treat her like an angel in the morning and lover her like the devil at night". I hope I haven't offended anyone with my opinions here cause I truly do think women are one of God's greatest creations and wish you each and all happiness and passion in your lives.

Very useful hub. It's nice to know your loved all of the time and little gestures like a flower or a little note means so much. I enjoyed reading your hub. Thanks
